By observing preschoolers I learned that exploring the line printing process, repeating lines in slightly different ways, designing with lines, connecting lines to form shapes, and printing letters and names seemed to develop naturally from the children’s explorations. It is the same with students of any age! Anyone trying line printing goes through these same stages – just more quickly, taking starter exercises to more complex levels. Starter lessons also act as preparation for all the other lessons in this program.
